I like apples. And I love simple apple cakes. As any simple apple cake is only good if it is made of good, tasty apples, I always stop to have a look in any apple shed on my way. On this page I will try to collect the apple sheds and orchard shops I find.

The Olde Apple Shed

Onkaparinga Valley Road, Balhannah, South Australia (left side of Onkaparinga Valley Rd when traveling to Balhannah from Princes Hwy, between turns to Glebe Rd and James St). Open daily, 10:00–17:00. Fresh apples, berries, apple pies, cakes, juice, jams, honey and flowers (the produce range depends on the season).

‘Apple Fields’ Orchard Shop

Onkaparinga Valley Road, Balhannah, South Australia (right side of Onkaparinga Valley Rd when traveling to Balhannah from Princes Hwy, after Johnson Rd). Fresh apples, cherries, strawberries, raspberries and apple pies (the produce range depends on the season).
